February Reads

Heart Bones

This was super cute! It was very summer teen romance. It didn’t take you on a huge roller coaster ride, with twists and turns and loopdy-loops. But it was a nice, fun rollercoaster.

Financial Feminist

I finally finished this and then reread a huge chunk of it again because it was SO GOOD. I have read quite a few financial literacy books, and this was my favorite. It was very actionable. I felt like I was given steps to take, and was in a place to do them. Tori did an amazing job on laying things out for you and giving advice for people that could be in all different seasons. I plan on buying one for all of my sisters and nieces in hopes that they will get a great start financially and not have to make all the same mistakes I did.

Maybe Someday, Maybe Not, Maybe Now

I’m still working away on my CoHo checklist obviously. Shortly after I started Maybe Someday, I didn’t think it would be a book I could get into.. but I ended up LOVING it and quickly read all 3 within a couple of weeks. Maybe Not is from a different couples perspective and timeline wise goes along with Maybe Someday. Then Maybe Now continues on from Maybe Someday and introduces a new perspective. I know Colleen Hoover is a big debate right now and you either love her writings or you hate them, but I am a big fan! I think they’re fun, unique and keeps me hooked.
